There are literally thousands of computer viruses out there looking to invade your system.  Your first line of defense is to run antivirus software and keep it up to date, but even if you do this, there are still viruses that find a way in.  Some viruses have to be manually removed in order to get rid of them; we can do this and get your computer running clean and clear. We can also teach you what to look out for and avoid in the future to keep your computer virus-free.

Spyware

Spyware, or malware, is software that is installed on your computer without your knowledge.  Different types of spyware do different things; some track your internet usage without your knowledge and report it to companies that use this information for their profit, some display popup advertisements when you are surfing the internet, some will go so far as to log everything you type (including usernames and passwords) and send this information to other people.

We can remove and repair most damaging spyware and teach you what to look out for to keep your system free of these programs.

We have the experience and know-how for removing viruses and spyware from your system, which is why you should contact us when your antivirus software falls short;  however, we like to share with our clients empowering information so they are not always dependent on our services.

Our favorite free antivirus software is AVG.  We are prefer to remove Norton and run AVG or,  for super protection, we recommend purchasing Eset’s NOD 32 Antivirus.
