We have posted before about Windows 7 lauding its features. Are you still wondering if you should bother with the upgrade? Since working with Kurt, who is ridiculously fast on a PC by way of keyboard shortcut usage, I have become a dedicated fan of navigating through open applications and windows with shortcuts. Watch how useful shortcuts are in Windows 7; snapping windows into place around large screens using the WIN + arrow keys is worth the whole upgrade to me:
Computer weary eyes? Distracted easily? Discover Readability!
Readability is a bookmarklet, literally just a link you can drag into your bookmark toolbar, that when clicked on turns your browser page into a clean reading page sans ads or other distracting site specific elements. It makes reading articles or other text heavy content so pleasant, because your eyes and brain aren’t challenged by competing text, flashing banners, and the like. You can pick from a handful of layouts and font sizes to customize your reading and if you want to get back to the original browser page layout, a simple click reloads the content.
It really is refreshing. See for yourself by going here.
